Facilities
All camps will be held at Fisher Stadium and surrounding facilities. Campers will be utilizing the batting cages and equipment that the U of M athletes use. This gives the camper the total Michigan experience.
To further the Michigan Experience, over-night campers will be housed in one of the dorms on the University of Michigan campus.
General Camp Information
Check-in
Kids Camp check-in begins at 8:00 AM the first day of camp. All other camps are on the Sunday, the first day of camp, and is between 7:45 AM and 8:45 AM.
Camp Hours
For all camps starting on Sunday, commuter campers are expected in the gathering area at the stadium by 5:45. Over-night campers need to meet their coaches in the courtyard at the dorm at 5:40 to walk down. Commuters are expected to arrive at camp at 8:45 AM (over night campers will be escorted from the dorms after breakfast) and to be picked up at 8:15 PM, except on the last day of camp when campers need to be picked up at 4:15. Over night campers can be picked up at the camp site or at the dorm.
Late/early check-ins can be arranged! Please call camp office for that information.
Needed Supplies
All campers should bring all of their equipment, including a glove, bat, batting helmet, and catching gear, if appropriate.
Commuters need to provide their own lunch and dinner or purchase meal tickets through housing.
Over-night campers must provide their own bedding, shower supplies and alarm clock. Please refer to housing�s guide for campers for additional details. Cell phones are at the parents� discretion. Calling cards are suggested as there are pay phones located in the dorms.
Cancellation/Refund/Check Policy
Your camp fee, less a $100 non-refundable administrative deposit, will be refunded without question if you cancel at least two weeks prior to the beginning of camp. At any time after that date, refunds (less the $100 administrative fee) will be made for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician with a diagnosis. If no request for cancellation is made before the day of the camp, absolutely no refunds will be given for any reason.
There will be a $50 fee assessed for each returned check.
Trainer/Camp Safety/Insurance
A trainer is available throughout camp, including over-night in the dorms. All campers are escorted between athletic facilities and the dorms for meals and activities.
After your application is processed, a medical statement/release form and a health insurance for will be e-mailed to you. These forms must be completely filled out, signed and brought to camp (please do NOT mail in forms). There will be blank forms available at check-in.
Camp Store/Camp Bank
Michigan baseball hats, t-shirts, shorts and souveniers will be available for purchase, along with snacks, soda, Gatorade and water. A camp bank will be established at the parents� request to be used at the camp store. The money deposited must be used completely or it becomes the property of the camp. No refunds of camp bank money will be given.
