Winter Camps: Choose Your Camp


Which camp is right for you?  Each of our camps specializes in different aspects of the game to help you become a better player!!

 


Father/Son Camp
November 28 (Ages 6 - 12)

This camp is not just for fathers and sons! All are welcome. This is a comprehensive camp, covering all aspects of the game of baseball (including hitting, throwing, pitching, infield, outfield and base running). Fathers and sons will participate in practicing the proper techniques that will aid them in the development of the game of baseball.


This is a hands on clinic where you will learn the same drills currently used by the University of Michigan Baseball program.  An outstanding camp for fathers, coaches, or even moms, who are teaching little league level ball players or who want to learn the correct fundamentals of the great game of baseball. Camp cost: $199 for father/son combo, $100 for additional kids

This camp will have a two hour lunch break and run from  9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.


Hitting Camp
November 29 - 30 (Ages 8 - 2009 Grads)
December 27-28 (Ages 8 - 2009 Grads)
December 29-30 (Ages 13 - 2009 Grads)

The hitting camp includes complete instruction in hitting only, focusing on proper techniques and fundamentals.  Each player will receive individual instruction and ample hitting time to enhance hitting ability using various drills and hitting equipment. Camp Cost: $175


Pitching Camp
November 29 - 30 (Ages 8 - 2009 Grads)
December 27-28 (Ages 8 - 2009 Grads)
December 29-30 (Ages 13 - 2009 Grads)

Pitching Coach Bob Keller will direct the pitching camp.  The camp will include instruction and various drills to improve the pitching delivery. The camp will cover windup mechanics, stretch mechanics, fastball grips, off-speed pitches, pitchers fielding practice, video tape analysis, pick-offs and shoulder exercises. Camp cost: ($165 2 camps - hitting or infield costs $295 or pick Pitching, Hitting, Infield for $450)


Catching Camp
November 29-30 (Ages 8 - 2009 Grads)
December 27-28 (Ages 8 - 2009 Grads)
December 29-30 (Ages 13 - 2009 Grads)

Catching Coach Matt Husted will direct the catching camp and this will include instruction and various drills to improve catching skills. The camp will cover stance, blocking, timed throws, framing, throwing, and fielding bunts.  Catchers need to bring their own equipment. Camp Cost: $165 (2 camps - hitting or infield costs $295 or pick Catching, Hitting, Infield for $450)


Infield Camp
November 29-30 (Ages 8 - 2009 Grads)
December 27-28 (Ages 8 - 2009 Grads)

This camp will cover all aspects of playing in the infield, including ready stance, slow-rollers, tags, double-plays, throwing techniques and basic infielding fundamentals. Camp Cost: $165 (2 camps - hitting or Pitching or Catching Camps cost $295 or pick Catching or Pitching, Hitting & Infield for $450)


Youth Comprehensive Camp
December 29-30 (Ages 6-12)

The Youth Comprehensive Camp (Ages 6 - 12)will provide hitting and defense instruction for an all-around experience. During the defensive section of camp, we will provide instruction in all areas of defensive play. We will cover throwing, fielding ground balls, and catching fly balls. You will also be given the opportunity to choose a position to practice during the camp: pitching, infield, outfield, or catching. This part of the day will be a great way to learn the fundamentals of your position. The hitting section includes complete instruction in hitting, focusing on proper techniques and fundamentals.Each player will receive individual instruction and ample hitting time to enhance hitting ability using various drills and hitting equipment.
