Facilities

The Oosterbaan Indoor Football Building and the Indoor Track building will be the sites of the 2008 Winter Baseball Camps.  The venues feature excellent facilities for complete baseball skill performance and improvement. Pitching machines, batting cages, tees, mounds, and a full infield enable each camper to receive ample instruction in all aspects of the game.  Campers should bring a glove and bat and should wear comfortable workout attire. You can wear turf or tennis shoes for camp.
 
Campers should plan lunch on their own.  Many restaurants are close to campus.

General Camp Information

Our camp staff will include some current players, as well as both high school and college coaches from throughout the Midwest. There will be a low camper to instructor ratio to insure quality instruction. 
 
All fundamentals taught will be the same that are taught to the players at the University of Michigan.
 
All campers will he placed into age groups in order to insure the most improvement, challenge and fun during the camp experience.
 
Supervision: Campers will be supervised by the coaching staff during all camp sessions.  November 24 &25— There will be no supervision from 11:30a.m.—1:45 p.m. We do not have access to the building.
 
Cancellation /Refund Policy: Your camp fee, less a $75 non-refundable administrative deposit, will be refunded without question, if you cancel at least two weeks prior to the beginning of camp. At any time after that date, refunds (less the $75 administrative fee) will be made for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician within 14 days from the start of camp. If no request for cancellation is made before the camp begins, absolutely no refunds will be given. In addition, a $50 additional fee will be assessed for all returned checks. Checks for registration will not be accepted within two weeks prior to camp. If you are registering by mail within two weeks of camp, please send a money order or cashier's check.
 
Registration:  Registration begins 45 minutes prior the start of camp. Registration for Thanksgiving Hitting Camp begins promptly at 2:00 p.m. Please note: On November 27 & 28, we do not have access to the building for registration prior 1:45 p.m. Do NOT arrive early! 
 
Trainers:  A trainer will be present at all sessions.
 
Required Forms: After your application is accepted, a medical statement, release form, and a health insurance form will be e-mailed to the camper. These forms must be completely filled out, signed and brought to camp. The camper will not be able to participate without these forms being on file!
 
Enrollment: In order to provide proper instruction, we will limit camp enrollment. Hurry! Enroll today.
 
Directions: Take Exit 177 (State Street) off of I-94 North for 2 miles. Turn left into parking lot just past Schembechler Hall. It is the blue building.
